Keystone State Games Field Hockey Championship
Friday July 30 – Sunday August 1, 2021
Keystone State Games is excited to announce that the 39th Annual Keystone Games Field Hockey Championship will be taking place in Luzerne County with a NEW format that allows club and school teams from around the nation to compete for Gold!
This is NOT a Stay-to-Play tournament. It is very important that our athletes that require lodging for the 2021 Summer Games please consider staying at our sponsor / participating hotels to ensure the hotels that are willing to support the games are valued for their dedication to the Keystone State Games and all of our participants!
ELIGIBILTY: Athletes based on divisions described below (Eligibility will follow the FIH Guidelines and male athletes are eligible to play in the divisions allowed by USA FH)

Saturday July 31 – Sunday, August 1, 2021 – U16 & U19 Competitions
DIVISIONS & FORMAT:
U12 (12 teams) – (12 teams) 7V7 playing on a turf 50 X 30 yard field
U14 (12 teams) – (12 teams) 11V11 playing on a full sized turf field
U16 (12 teams) – (12 teams) 11V11 playing on full sized turf field
U19 (12 teams) – (12 teams) 11V11 playing on full sized turf field
Unlimited number of players and coaches on rosters with roster changes and updates available until check-in on the first day of the tournament (changes & updates after July 23, 2021 will not make the college coaches roster packets)
Athletes may play in multiple divisions but must be listed on the roster at check-in before the start of competition. Director reserves the right to make changes to tournament and/or move a team to a different division, as needed

ALL U14, U16, & U19 ATHLETES ARE ENCOURAGED TO COMPLETE THE FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER PROFILE BY JULY 14 2020 - PLAYERS THAT COMPLETE AND SUBMIT A FORM BY JULY 23, 2021 WILL HAVE THEIR INFORMATION INCLUDED FOR THE COLLEGE COACHES PLAYER PROFILE PACKET!

UMPIRES: This event is open to all US rated umpires; Level I, Level II, Level III. We encourage strong Level I and II umpires to attend. Registration will be capped at 40 umpires. Contact Cindy Raney at email@example.com or 610-781-2124.

COST: Online registration discounts and early registration discounts are available
U12 Division – $150 per team
U14, U16 & U19 Divisions - $450 per team
ONLINE REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS: EXTENDED DISCOUNT TIMES
BEST SAVINGS: Register EARLY ONLINE by June 1, 2021 and receive an automatic savings of $50 per team that is registered.
SAVINGS: Register EARLY ONLINE from June 1, 2021 - July 1, 2020 and receive an automatic savings of $25 per team that is registered.

UNIFORMS: Teams must supply their own like colored shirts with numbers and like colored shin guards. (Alternate color would be recommended for conflict, however vests will be provided, if needed.)

AWARDS: Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals
DEADLINE: July 16, 2021 or until division’s fill, entries accepted on a first-in basis – register early to guarantee your spot in the tournament and get the early registration discounts!!!

Cancellation Policy: If the competition is held, as scheduled or rescheduled, there is no refund of the registration/finals fee. The option is the individual’s or team’s as to whether to compete or not. If the competition is cancelled, and not rescheduled, and there is no opportunity for the individual or team to compete, then there may be a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
This policy is for all Keystone State Games and Premier Amateur Sports sporting events. Refund considerations may require additional paperwork and will be reviewed after the completion of the competition. Refund inquiries are to be emailed to: email@example.com
