A Qualifier for the 2027 National Senior Games

We’re thrilled to announce that the 2026 Pennsylvania Senior Games will take place in State College, PA—home of Penn State University—from July 24 through August 2, 2026!
This exciting edition of the Games will serve as the official qualifying event for the 2027 National Senior Games, offering athletes the opportunity to compete at one of the nation’s most iconic college campuses. More details, including sport-specific venues, housing, and registration information, will be shared in fall 2025.
✅ Eligibility

The 2026 Pennsylvania Senior Games are open to athletes from all states.

Athletes must be 50 years of age or older as of December 31, 2026 to participate.

NSGA Qualifying Age Groups:
50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, 80–84, 85–89, 90–94, 95–99, and 100+ (separate divisions for males and females). -
All non-qualifying sports will use 10-year age brackets.
Open State Policy:
Out-of-state residents are welcome to compete in the 2026 PA Senior Games. If an out-of-state athlete qualifies for the National Senior Games, they will not take away a qualifying spot from a Pennsylvania resident. For team sports (e.g., Basketball, Softball, Volleyball), a team comprised of athletes from different states will be considered an out-of-state team. NSGA out-of-state qualification rules will apply.
In the event that an out-of-state team qualifies for NSGA competition, they will not displace a qualifying spot for a Pennsylvania-based team unless the PA team declines to use the position.

All registration will take place online using FuseSport.com, the official system used by NSGA.

Deadline to register: July 12, 2026, unless otherwise noted on individual sport pages.

Exciting News for PA Senior Games Athletes! YOU ARE ELIGIBLE to compete in the 2026 State Games of America (SGA)—taking place concurrently with the PA Senior Games from July 24 – August 2, 2026, at Penn State University and throughout State College!
This is a unique dual opportunity to shine on both the state and national stage, and we encourage all senior athletes to embrace the moment and compete with pride!
However, there are a few important notes to keep in mind:
✅ You ARE Eligible to compete in the SGA
✅ You MUST register separately for SGA events if you wish to participate in both
⚠️ YOU are responsible for checking the schedules
To avoid any conflicts, please carefully review both the PA Senior Games master schedule and the State Games of America sport schedules before registering. Make sure your events don’t overlap and that your competition experience is seamless and stress-free.
📌 Please Note: Your participation in PA Senior Games events (registered through FUSESPORT) will only count toward qualification for the National Senior Games—regardless of performance, placement, or result.
